Ormiston State School was one of the South East Queensland State Schools that reviewed a threatening phone calls this morning.
All of these schools immediately contacted police and have enacted emergency procedures based on police advice.
As at 12 noon, the state schools that have received threats include:
Coomera Rivers State School
Ormiston State School
Southport State High School
A spokesperson for the Education Department said all staff are working with police to ensure all students and staff are safe.
This mornings threats follow a similar nature to those made recently to schools interstate and overseas
