As school heads back and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games ends, we can expect those Games specific rail schedules changes to be with us for another week.
Those temporary service changes for the games will take a week to unravel.
Queensland Rail CEO Nick Easy says the changes remain in place across South East Queensland from 16-20 April.
“Following the intense GC2018 period, an altered timetable will remain in place while we rest our hard-working train crews.”
During this time, trains on most lines across SEQ will run every 15 minutes or better in peak times, and every 30 minutes in off peak.
Normal services will resume 21 April, the meantime the State Government advices that you plan your journey in advance by calling 13 12 30 or visiting translink.com.au.
