While the chaps at Capalaba Police Beat are keen to kick off the year with coffee and a chat with locals so too are their counterparts at Redland Bay.
First up the Capalaba Police Beat is inviting everyone for a Coffee with a Cop at Coffee Club in Capalaba Park Shopping Centre.
Capalaba Police Beat administration officer, Pauline Dunn has won praise for her Coffee with a Cop organisation skills and when asked why she does these events she says that she loves a good coffee, a good chat and great people.
“The main thing members of the public at CWAC events ask is about police recruiting, road rules, traffic complaints and the correct reporting process for different situations.”
As per usual, officers from Capalaba Police Station will be present along with Bayside District Crime Prevention Coordinators (DCPC), Police Liaison Officers (PLOs), ViPs and Crime Stoppers of course.

Now, for those of us further down the REDLAND Coast don’t despair.
AT Redland Bay Police Station Officer in Charge, Senior Sergeant Stephen Graham is inviting all Southern Moreton Bay Island and Redland Bay residents to attend an upcoming local Coffee with a Cop.
Senior Sergeant Graham says that the event will be held at the new cafe ‘Jetty Coffee Co’ who serve great coffee.
“This is a great opportunity to chat with your local cops and discuss community issues.”
He says this Coffee with a Cop will be an opportunity to talk about illegal drug use within the community and the Queensland Police Service (QPS) role in combating it.
As well as local police from Redland Bay, Bayside District Crime Prevention Coordinators (DCPC), Police Liaison Officers (PLOs), Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) and Crime Stoppers will be in attendance, as will Mel and her friendly staff at Jetty Coffee Co.
